Music in the Round Performance at Cast Theatre (with inset session at The Point)

Would you please forward this fantastic offer to all Home Educators. If last year is anything to go by, it will be a truly amazing event

Doncaster Music Hub is thrilled to announce this year’s performance from Music in the Round, and those of you who came to Stan and Mabel last year will be as excited as we are!

This year we get two stories for the price of one – Crazy Creatures, including The Duck With No Luck and A Cat Called Scratch. All the information is in the attached document but just to highlight a few points:

  • There will be an INSET session with Polly Ives, the singer/narrator with Ensemble 360, on Thursday 15th January 4-5.30 at The Point – essential to learn the songs firsthand and get teaching ideas to make the most of this wonderful opportunity. Places on this are free and can be booked through Cast when you book your tickets.
  • The performances at Cast are 10.30 and 1.30 and will last just under an hour.
  • We are charging for tickets this year, but please note that because of the age of the children for Crazy Creatures we are offering one free place for accompanying staff for every five children (please note the normal ratio at Cast is one to ten).
  • There is an option to have Polly in your school for a subsidised workshop – please negotiate this directly with Music in the Round
  • This year we are also offering a post-performance evaluation session with Polly where there will be more ideas for embedding these approaches in your school. Again, you can book free places on this when you book with Cast. It is March 25th 4-5.30 at The Point.

Looking forward to seeing you all!

NB: for full details, a pdf flyer available please comment if you’d like one e-mailing to you.
